The first work party of the year will take place in Juanita Woodlands Park on Saturday, February 8th from 9am till noon. This is an event organized by King County Parks and is open to everyone.
Work: The site has been worked on for several years, by the reliable volunteers from Emerald Parents Association as well as local residents, including weed removal, new planting and mulching. The work this time is to spread mulch to protect existing plantings, and maybe do some extra planting.
Location: The site is located at the NW corner of the park and the meeting spot is across the street from 11803 76th Ave NE, Kirkland WA 98034. There should be ample street parking. More details from King County Parks can be found in the flier.
If you think you might like to attend, or if you have any questions or concerns, please let us (email@example.com) or Sean Walters from King County (see flier) know so we can plan accordingly.
