Our Mission
To coordinate residents and partners to protect the natural environment and to promote the welfare of the community by engaging in civic issues.
Our Vision
More broadly, our vision is to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood by enhancing our parks, supporting our tree canopy, improving our trails and bikeways, and making public transportation more accessible. We want to find ways to accommodate growth that increase housing choices, provide a wider range of commercial and community services here on the hill, and at the same time expand protections for our woodlands and waterways and the wildlife that inhabit them. Most of all, we want to help our residents create a community that fulfills their aspirations and leaves a legacy of community engagement that inspires future generations.

As one Kirkland’s thirteen neighborhood associations, we represent the Finn Hill neighborhood. All Finn Hill residents are members of FHNA simply by virtue of living here. We welcome all residents to our community meetings and annual board elections. We welcome comments on what we are doing and suggestions about what we should be doing. We welcome volunteers to help with meetings, trail tours, educational programs, block parties and receptions, land acquisition efforts and fundraising.

Contributions by Finn Hill residents are our primary source of funding. Support from community members has powered our accomplishments for the past quarter century. We rely on that support to continue our work. We’re a 501c3 non-profit so all contributions are eligible for a tax deduction.
